Thar Blues (Rajasthan)
Intimate desertbaithaks in and around Jaisalmer with legendary Manganiar musicians and the acclaimed Barmer Boys. Enjoy private performances by the serene Gadisar Lake, hands-on sessions with master instrument makers (including the rare Kamaicha), and shared meals in artists’ homes.
Himalayan Baithak (Uttarakhand)
A serene 2-night riverside retreat near Nainital at Soulitude by the Riverside. Experience soulful Qawwali by Rehmat-e-Nusrat and lyrical Kumaoni folk by Himali Mou, along with unplugged baithaks, mountain views, and farm-to-table moments.
Amarrass Society for Performing Arts (ASPA)
Archival. Revival. Sustainable.
ASPA is the non-profit foundation of Amarrass Records, working since 2010 to preserve, revive, and sustain India's rich folk music traditions and endangered crafts. We travel to remote villages, restore nearly lost instruments, and create dignified livelihoods — so these living traditions are never silenced.
Archival
We travel to remote villages to record rare oral histories and ancient songs from senior masters using high-fidelity field recordings. These living archives are openly shared on our YouTube channel for musicians, researchers, and music lovers worldwide.
Revival
We revive nearly lost traditions. Our flagship Kamaicha Revival Project brought master craftsman Shankara Ram Suthar back from Pune to Jaisalmer to restore the ancient Kamaicha. We also support master blacksmith Mohan Lal Lohar, who hand-forges the iconic Morchang using traditional mud-pit kilns and goat-skin bellows.

Sadhana Travels is a niche travel agency set up by Ashutosh Sharma.
It has consistently delivered on its unique selling proposition: handling last-minute, door-to-door logistics and travel for journalists and NGOs.
We specialize in supporting those traveling to cover or report breaking news, often in challenging situations like wars, tragedies and natural disasters, in places that are being evacuated or are under security lockdown.
Over the years, our reputation has been built on our commitment to offer 24x7 services for urgent travel, often reading and preempting the news cycle around the world.

Ashutosh founded Sadhana Travels in 1994 at just 19. With over 30 years of specialized experience in air ticketing and travel customization, he brings unparalleled depth and industry insight to secure the best value for our clients. Ashutosh personally customizes travel packages, handles urgent requests for clients like journalists, and meticulously oversees every detail to ensure nothing is overlooked. He is also the co-founder of Amarrass Records, a D-I-Y record label, artist management, booking, and events production company.

Since 1999, Jyoti has been the driving force behind Sadhana's air ticketing and client service operations. She manages everything from domestic and international flights to essential travel advice, visa facilitation, and special requests with precision and care.
